Main clutch skid

Slipping of main clutch is the most common fault of bulldozer. The main reasons are: wear of main and follower plates; opening welding of lock pin of adjusting disc; out-of-position of main clutch control rod; poor thread engagement between adjusting disc and flywheel cover. Clutch slip fault is sometimes very difficult to deal with, the general repair method is to rotate the adjusting disc repeatedly. If the clutch is still slipping after many adjustments, the transmission is often removed first and the main clutch is disassembled blindly, so that not only the failure point can not be found, but also easy to damage other parts and delay production, resulting in great economic losses. For this reason, we should make careful analysis based on the above possible reasons for effective investigation. For example, our unit has a Yellow River TY220 bulldozer, the main clutch sometimes slippery phenomenon, the initial adjustment of its adjusting disk machine can work reluctantly, but not long after the lock screw release, so only the main clutch will be removed to lock the two screw all new, and check all the parts (zero) The parts were not damaged, and the main and driven parts were basically not worn out. The machine returned to normal. But after a month the main clutch slipped again, and eventually reached every 2H to adjust the clutch, so that construction can not proceed. At that time, it was decided to replace the full set of main clutch, but this was not only a waste of money, but also because of the busy production time is not allowed, after many adjustments, the bulldozer only pushed a few shovels or dozens of shovels after the clutch began to slip phenomenon, and finally decided that the adjustment plate and the flywheel cover end of the screw ratio test caused by poor engagement. Therefore, after adjusting the main clutch, locking pin is locked by locknut. After being treated by this method, the machine has not adjusted the main clutch for half a year, indicating that the fault spot has been found correctly.

The main clutch lever is heavy.

The main reasons are: the filter is blocked and the fuel supply is insufficient, so that the booster does not work; the main clutch hydraulic system is short of oil; the booster damage or booster safety valve problems; the removal sleeve in the bimetal sleeve burned. When the clutch lever is in heavy trouble, the oil level of the hydraulic system should be checked to see if the oil level meets the requirements; if the oil level is suitable, the oil filter can be temporarily removed, and then the main clutch lever can be pulled. If the lever is felt to be stiffened, the oil filter is blocked, and only the oil filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. If the oil circuit is normal, but the main clutch lever is heavy, you can first check and force device safety valve is jammed or discharged, if the booster safety valve is not a problem, you must check booster; or check whether the bimetal sleeve in the moving sleeve is burnt, it is necessary to be renewable.

Gear changes loud and hard when shifting gears.

The main reasons are: the adjusting disc is too tight; the brake of the hand brake is not effective. When the adjusting disc is too tight, the main clutch is difficult to separate, so the power can not be cut off, resulting in gear shifting when the abnormal sound. At this point, the adjusting disc should be counterclockwise adjusted to the appropriate position, that is, when adjusting the main clutch, as long as the main clutch handle can be pulled clearly heard across the dead point when the crisp call can be. If the braking effect of the hand brake is not good, it will cause the main clutch to separate, but the main clutch shaft is still rotating due to inertia (according to the requirements, the main clutch shaft should stop in 3 seconds when the main clutch is in the state of separation), so the gear is difficult to engage and produce abnormal sound when shifting. At this point, the small brake belt must be adjusted or replaced.

The main clutch can not engage.

The main reasons are as follows: the short pin shaft on the coupling plate falls off; the weight of the moving sleeve is reversed; the upper cover of the main clutch is not put on during the repair process, checking whether the short pin shaft of the moving sleeve falls off and whether the heavy hammer of the moving sleeve is reversed (if the heavy hammer is reversed, the moving sleeve can not enter the adjusting plate), removing the moving sleeve and riveting the short pin again if necessary. Shaft and install adjusting disc. If the main clutch shaft is not installed properly, the lever shaft should be adjusted according to the regulations.
